Respect farm animals and wildlife
Travel and camp on durable surfaces
Leave what you find
Dispose of waste properly
Minimise the effect of fire.
Leave No Trace Ireland is a network of organisations and individuals with an interest in promoting the responsible recreational use of the countryside and wild places. It is currently funded and supported by the following organisations:
CAAN, Duke of Edinburgh Award, Coillte, National Parks and Wildlife Service, the Heritage Council, Forest Service (Southern Ireland), National Waymarked Ways Committee, Dept of Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs, MCI, Mountain Meitheal. Mountain Biking Ireland and SCouting Ireland.
